A HALLOWEEN themed firework display will be returning to Tranmere Rover’s Prenton Park this October.

Rovers, in partnership with Heswall Round Table, will again be putting on their annual firework display on Sunday, October 27.

Tickets cost £5 and proceeds will go towards supporting local good causes through Heswall Round Table.

As well as fireworks, the event will have acts performing from local dance groups, choir and the cast of Dream World Entertainers – Gladstone Theatre Pantomime Cinderella.

Peter Moir, Chair of Heswall Round Table, told the Globe: “The fireworks is one of our annual fundraising activities.

“We have been providing a display for many years. We started in Old Vic Hotel, moving to Wirral Boys Campsite and Pensby Infant School for a short time.

“This is the 12th year as Heswall Round Table running with Tranmere Rovers. Prior to this it was by Bebington Round Table before they merged with us.

“We have not changed the cost of tickets since 2012 staying £5 per ticket.

“We have lots of acts performing followed by a breathtaking firework display.

“This year as the event is a little earlier than bonfire night we are asking people to dress us in their Halloween Costumes as a Spooktactular Evening.

“This is a brilliant bright family friendly event, and a great way to support the local community.

“The funds raised from the event go back into supporting local communities and individuals in and around the Wirral.”

Seats are available in the Argyle Satellite Taxis Kop, as well as the Bebington Paddock, Town Paddock and Bebington End in the Main Stand.

Seats are unreserved, so you can choose the block you wish to sit in, but not a specific seat.

Gates open at 5.30pm with performances from 6.10pm. Tickets are now on sale at £5.00 each from trfctickets.co.uk/events.
