POLICE have issued an update on a Wirral boy who went missing almost a month ago.
14-year-old Ethan McIlroy went missing from his home in Wirral on Tuesday, September 17.
Extensive enquiries were ongoing to find him with Merseyside Police issuing an appeal at the time.
The appeal stated that Ethan was known to frequent Wirral, especially New Ferry, Rock Ferry and Woodchurch areas and when he went missing he was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit and black trainers.
Merseyside Police have today (Tuesday, October 8) issued an update on Ethan.
A spokesperson confirmed to the Globe that the teenager has been found “safe and well” and thanked people for sharing their appeal.
