WIRRAL sportswear brand Castore has agreed a partnership with Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
Castore will be the exclusive official kit supplier, and exclusive official sportswear and apparel partner from the 2025 season for the men’s, women’s and player pathway teams of the Headingley-based county.
The new partnership launches following the return of the men’s team to Division One of the County Championship, whilst the women’s team will be entering a new era of professional cricket.
Additionally, Castore will solely provide retail and eCommerce services, taking ownership of all of Yorkshire’s retail channels and club shop.
The deal puts Yorkshire County Cricket Club in a growing roster of top sporting names and teams partnering with Castore, including England and Wales Cricket, McLaren F1, Everton Football Club, Oracle Red Bull Racing, and sporting legends Sir Andy Murray, and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.
Founded in Wirral in 2016 by Bebington brothers Tom and Phil Beahon, Castore has quickly become a global brand with a valuation of over a billion pounds and a headcount of 500 employees.
As part of their latest partnership, Castore will become a familiar brand at Headingley in the 2024-2025 domestic and international seasons, as Men’s International Cricket returns to the ground for the England vs. India Rothesay Test series next June, and the first Metro Bank ODI England vs. South Africa next September.
Sanjay Patel, CEO of Yorkshire CCC said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Castore ahead of the 2025 season and are looking forward to working with them ahead of an exciting summer of cricket.
“We join an illustrious list of sporting teams from around the world that work with Castore and I’m sure our members and supporters will be excited to see the new range that will be launched in the new year.”
“Castore have grown rapidly in recent years, cementing themselves as one of the best premium sportswear brands in the world and we are really excited to welcome them to the Yorkshire Family.”
Castore founding partner Tom Beahon said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Yorkshire CCC as they take their rightful place back at the top table of English County Cricket. Headingley is an iconic global cricket venue and we’re excited to be on board with Yorkshire ahead of a hugely exciting summer of international cricket in 2025.”
“Castore is also committed to supporting Yorkshire's wider community and grassroots cricket, as a region with a long list of locally produced talent that have gone to do great things for the sport.
"We’re pleased that some of the all-time greats of English cricket, and famous Yorkies such as Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Harry Brook, Adil Rashid, and Katherine Sciver-Brunt have all worn the Castore wings when on England duty. And we’re proud that some of these exceptional players can now do so when representing Yorkshire.
"We are pleased to be providing high performance wear for a team on the rise, and this partnership signifies our continued focus on the sport of cricket as we build on our existing partnership with counties, the ECB and other national teams.”
