THERE is 'major' disruption for West Kirby line rail services due to a track fault at Leasowe station this morning (Saturday, September 28).
Disruption is expected until 10.15am.
A statement on Merseyrail's website read: "Due to a track fault at Leasowe the West Kirby line is disrupted. Disruption is expected until 10.15am.
"Train services to West Kirby will be terminated at and started back from Birkenhead North.
"A rail replacement bus service is currently being arranged to operate between Birkenhead North and West Kirby in both directions, but is not yet in operation."
