The hit play Cluedo is returning with a new murder-mystery at the Floral Pavilion.

Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter! will run from Tuesday, November 12 to Saturday, November 16 at the New Brighton theatre.

Set in the 1960s, the story introduces new suspects, a new house, and a string of new victims.

The play features Ellie Leach, known for her roles in Coronation Street and as a Strictly Come Dancing champion, as Miss Scarlett.

The plot centres on rock 'n' roll legend Rick Black, who, despite his fame, has been struggling financially due to a lack of recent hits.

Now residing in the lavish Graveny Manor, Rick is determined to revive his dwindling career, even if it means resorting to extreme measures.

In an attempt to make a comeback, Rick gathers a group of familiar faces, including his supermodel wife, The Honourable Emerald Peacock; his manager, Colonel Eugene Mustard; long-time roadie Professor Alex Plum; trusted interior designer Annabel Scarlett; and housekeeper Mrs White, who is privy to all the manor's secrets.

But the absence of Rick’s former songwriting partner, The Reverend Hal Green, who vanished mysteriously when Rick's career began to falter, looms large.

As the plot thickens and the body count rises, these colourful characters begin to unearth each other's secrets, racing from room to room in a bid to outwit the killer and survive the night.
