AN example of new energy efficient homes in Hooton is now available to view, in a bid to inspire buyers.

Elan Homes had achieved initial "off plan" success following the launch of its Birch Grange development on Roften Way.

The homebuilder is now inviting buyers to view a show home – a professionally styled and fully furnished example of the four-bedroom detached Denewood II.

Elan regional sales and marketing director Marie Morris said: "Buyers have shown a strong interest in our new homes in Hooton.

"Some people already knew exactly which property they wanted to call home and were keen to reserve at the earliest opportunity – even before they could physically see the homes.

"Building work has now progressed and we’ve opened the doors to a show home to help inspire buyers.

"It's helping people understand the layout of the Denewood II housetype while also giving them an idea of the quality and finish they can expect from Elan.”

The Denewood II spans 1,194 sq ft, designed with modern living in mind.

It has what is described as a 'spacious' living room at the front of the property, which leads through to a combined kitchen and dining room with French doors opening out to the rear garden. A utility and cloakroom complete the ground floor.

Upstairs, two of the four bedrooms have en-suites, leaving the family bathroom to serve the remaining two bedrooms.

Across the development there’s plenty of choice with nine house types being built including three-bedroom homes available in semi-detached and detached designs, plus a range of four-bedroom detached styles.

Elan’s new homes in Hooton achieve a minimum Energy Performance Certificate Rating of B, making them among the most efficient available.

Marie Morris added: "At this time of year, when the weather turns colder and the darker evenings start setting in, people tend to reach for the heating controls along with the light switch.

"There's also a growing awareness of the economic and environmental cost of the energy we use in our homes.

"Based on Energy Performance Certificate data, the Home Builders Federation estimates the average new build house uses 64% less energy than older house, with the potential to reduce monthly energy bills by £183."

The show home at Birch Grange is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm. For more information see https://www.elan-homes.co.uk/developments/birch-grange.
