A WIRRAL steakhouse has announced an opening date for its second venue.

Broadway Steak and Wine based on Broadway in Bebington is owned by Mustafa Ciftci who moved to Wirral 17 years ago.

The steakhouse has a 4.5/5 rating from its customers on Tripadvisor and won the Travellers’ Choice award in 2022.

The popular local eatery is open every day of the week from 2pm until 10pm and serves a variety of grilled food including chicken and lamb shish, lamb chops, seabass, salmon, and burgers.

In April, the owners announced that they would be opening a second venue on Telegraph Road in Heswall, replacing the former Barton Rouge Indian restaurant that was sold in March 2023.

Today (Friday, September 20) they announced that the new restaurant, called Broadway Meat House, will open on Thursday, September 26.

Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson for the restaurant said: “We are finally open from 26th September Thursday. You can book your table via 0151 319 79 49 alternatively on Instagram or Facebook message.”

Customers shared their well wishes to Mustafa and the team.

One said: “At last the day has arrived! Sadly we are away and will mis first night but we will be along when we get home. Good luck for the opening night. Heswall has a fantastic new restaurant. Congratulations.”
