A MAN was allegedly assaulted when a man broke his car window after a collision in Birkenhead.
At around 4.10pm yesterday (Thursday, September 19) police received a report of a road traffic collision between a silver BMW and a blue BMW at the roundabout on Green Lane in Birkenhead.
It was reported that the silver BMW left the area and was followed by the other car to Borough Road.
The driver of the silver BMW is then alleged to have got out of his car before damaging the window of the other car and assaulting the driver, a 23-year-old man.
An investigation is currently underway and Merseyside Police is asking anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “An investigation is underway and CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries are being carried out.
“Anyone with information is asked to DM @MerPolCC or call 101 quoting reference 24000807455.”
