AN adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic Sherlock Holmes detective novel, The Sign Of Four, is coming to St George’s Hall in Liverpool this month.
On Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28, Ginificent is bringing the debut production to the city as it prepares to transport audience members to Victorian London.
Join the charismatic Sherlock Holmes and his loyal companion Dr. John Watson as they embark on a thrilling quest filled with mystery and suspense. When a young woman seeks their assistance in uncovering the truth behind her father’s mysterious disappearance, Holmes and Watson find themselves ensnared in a web of secrets, treasure and a dark past.
Set in the grand Grade I Listed neoclassical landmark, the production promises to be a “very special theatrical experience”.
Director Clare Scott said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing this debut production of The Sign Of Four to our city’s incredible landmark.
“We’ve carefully curated a thrilling performance that will bring this Sherlock Holmes classic to life and transport the audience to Victorian London in an engaging and immersive way.
“Some of our previous adaptations include celebrated productions such as A Christmas Carol and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde.
“The team is committed to delivering outstanding performances that resonate with audiences and our shows almost always sell out — we have big plans for The Sign Of Four and we can’t wait to debut it at St. George’s Hall this month.”
