Held at The Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight on Sunday, September 1, the event had "a fantastic turnout" according to the society's chairman David Oliver, with "lots of new faces, and people could have a look backstage, take part in a quiz, have a drink and a bite to eat, and find out more about the society.
"There was a lot of past memorabilia on display as well".
The group also confirmed that its first production of the new season will be Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, with auditions taking place this Thursday (September 12).
Looking back on the recent centenary celebration, a post on the group's Facebook page read: "A massive thank you to everyone who attended our centenary celebration. It was such a pleasure to see so many members both old and new.
"We even had a family from Kazakhstan who were interested in learning about British theatre. It really was a special day.
"Finally a massive thank you to all of our members who helped put this day together and made it as special as it was."

Looking ahead to staging the play, a statement on Bebington Dramatic Society's Facebook page read: "We are really excited to be producing this version of Pride and Prejudice which was last performed at the Gladstone Theatre in 2008.
"There are plenty of opportunities to have fun with this version of the play, including the potential for live music and taking a minimal approach to set, whilst focussing on ensemble work with character and story driving the play at all times.
"We’d love to hear a diverse range of takes on the characters and the extracts here should help give auditionees something to get their teeth into."
