DID you wake up this morning and think about a strong cup of coffee and a good breakfast?
Or maybe you’re planning to enjoy a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake this afternoon.
Which café or coffee shop would be your number one destination for a spot of lunch or to catch up with friends while you enjoy a hot drink?
We’re looking for Wirral’s Best Café or Coffee Shop and we need your help to find the area’s perfect place for a brew.
In our Best of 2024 campaign, we’ve given out 18 awards so far in Wirral for hair, nails and beauty, tattoos and independent shops, as well as pizza, dessert and cocktails and many more.
Voting is currently taking place to find Wirral’s Best for Curry, with the vote closing at midnight on Sunday, September 8.

This week it’s cafes and coffee shops.
Tell us which of the area’s cafés and coffee shops should make our latest shortlist and then the overall winner will be decided by you, our readers.
Which is your favourite café or coffee shop?
HOW IT WORKS:
Each Friday morning we will reveal new categories via our social media pages and ask you who is the best. Nominations will then close each Monday morning at 12pm.
Every Thursday we will publish a shortlist of finalists with voting officially opening.
You will be able to vote in one of three ways:
- By commenting under the relevant post on our Wirral Globe Facebook or X (Twitter) pages = 1 vote
- By entering via the online article on our Wirral Globe website = 2 votes
- By entering via our Wirral Globe newspaper = 5 votes
Voting closes at midnight each Sunday.
The following Wednesday evening we will announce the winner of that category on social media.
Usual Newsquest competition rules apply.
