WIRRAL Book Fair is taking place at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton this Saturday (September 7). Promising 'books for all tastes and ages, pockets and purses' it will run from 10am to 2.30pm.

Band in the park
PORT Sunlight Lyceum Brass Band is playing in the Upper Park of Ashton Park in West Kirby this Sunday (September 8) from 2-4pm.

Heritage Open Days
ENGLISH Martyrs' Church in St George's Road, Wallasey will be welcoming visitors to the Grade II* listed building this Saturday (September 7) and Sunday (September 8) as part of the National Trust Heritage Open Days. The church will be open from 2pm to 5pm on both days. On Sunday, there will also be Afternoon Tea and Reminiscence, an opportunity to share your memories of the Wallasey Village area and the church.

Hoylake 10k
A COASTAL 10km run is set to return to Wirral next month after organisers decided to bring it back after five years.
The Hoylake 10k Coastal Fun Run, on Sunday, September 22, will be back for its 26th year and will help raise funds for the UTS Foundation, based in the town.
The event is well established in the Wirral community, consistently attracting hundreds of runners from across the region.
