Nickel City, on Seabank Road in New Brighton, was established by Cory Isham, who moved to Wirral from Buffalo in New York, after falling in love with New Brighton local Germaine.

Wirral schoolgirl becomes European Boxing Champion
A Wirral schoolgirl has been crowned the Boxing Champion of Europe.
Letitia Mckee, who boxes at Birkenhead Venture Boxing Club, flew to Bosnia on August 1 to compete for England in the EUBC European Schoolgirl & Schoolgirl Championships in Banja Luka.
The 14-year-old St John Plessington pupil beat Romania by a second round stoppage before racking up points wins against Russia, Georgia and Greece in the final to win the gold medal.
