“The centre provided me with calmness, peace and clarity during my treatment not to mention support and a great cup of tea.
“The team at Maggie’s are wonderfully welcoming so if you (or anyone you know) are affected by cancer in any way, you can just pop along for advice and a friendly chat.
“I’d honestly recommend anyone in this situation to pop in.”
The event aims to raise awareness and funds for Maggie’s, the cancer support charity that provides free practical, emotional, and social support to those affected by cancer.
Maggie’s Fest 2023 welcomed more than 1,300 local people to the event raising £15,000 for Maggie’s.
Maggie’s Centre Head, Kathy Wright said: “We were overwhelmed with how many people attended the 2023 and we are extremely thankful to Brimstage Farm for continuing to support Maggie’s in this way.
“We would also like to say thank you to Home Instead Wirral for kindly sponsoring this event.’’
“We are currently supporting 78% of the local population of new people diagnosed with cancer, along with people currently living with and beyond cancer.
“The support from Brimstage Farm will mean we can continue to make a significant difference to those who need us most.
