ELLESMERE Port line rail services are currently disrupted because of a broken down train.
Merseyrail tweeted that services face cancellations or alterations.
A statement on its website read: "Disruption is expected until 2.30pm. Train services to Ellesmere Port will be terminated at and started back from Hooton.
"Replacement road transport services are conveying passengers between Hooton and Ellesmere Port via Little Sutton and Overpool in both directions until further notice."
