Wirral mum and daughter open new boutique selling personalised gifts

Kiki Boutique was created by mother and daughter Angela Clegg, 56, and Kirsty Sutton, 36, after Kirsty became ill with breast cancer in 2021 aged 33.

While undergoing treatment in 2022, Kirsty started to selling preloved items and creating personalised t-shirts gifts for family and friends.

Word soon spread and demand for Kirsty’s items became more popular and in 2023 Kiki Boutique was born.

Angela and Kirsty said: “Through social media and online sales it became apparent that customers wanted quality with an option to purchase at their required budget.

“We also noticed there was a lack of on the high street shops who sold personalised items.”

Angela and Kirsty decided to take a chance and open the shop on Church Road in Bebington.

The pair added: "We are both really excited to be opening our shop to the public. To be able to show our customers what our personalised gifts are and also let our customers build their own gift boxes to suit any occasion.

“We are busy setting up the shop and making it perfect for all our visitors.

“This will allow customers to come and look and feel the items before deciding on the right design.

“Gift ideas are available to view in store but we will also offer an experience of building the gift package yourself.

“For us creating that right gift for our loved ones is of utmost importance. We aim to provide a choice for everyone.

"Hopefully we are able to offer gifts for everyone's budget and we welcome any suggestions and ideas for designs.

"The other local businesses in the village have made us feel very welcome and we look forward to being part of the community."
