WALLASEY Musical Theatre Company's production of Legally Blonde The Musical will be staged next week.
On at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton from Wednesday August 14 to Saturday, August 17 it is about Elle Woods, who decides to enrol in Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend.
Along to the way, Elle discovers her own strength, intelligence, and independence, challenging stereotypes and proving that she's more than just a pretty face.
Adapted from the popular film, it is filled with memorable characters, witty humour, and empowering themes of self-discovery and perseverance, the show promises to captivate audiences of all ages.
Director Jess Martin told the Globe: "This is the first time I have worked with WMTC and I'm having a great time. Having choreographed the show twice before, I'm excited to also be direction this production.
"It's one of my all-time favourite shows and I wait for it onstage in such a lovely theatre.
"Legally Blonde is full of catchy songs and high energy dance routines that are guaranteed to make you feel good.
"Fans of the film will love the show, and even if you haven't seen the film you'll find plenty to enjoy in this musical. We have a super talented cast, as well as a great live band, and I can't wait for audiences to see them onstage.
"This show will remind you that staying true to yourself never goes out of fashion."
Ciera Evans, who plays Elle Woods in the production, said: "Legally Blonde is such a fun, family friendly, feel good show and I'm so excited to be part of it.
"The cast and crew have been working so hard at the rehearsals and behind the scenes, it's really coming together and looking amazing.
"The cast are so talented and we're having such an incredible time rehearsing, it's not a show to miss.
"I've been obsessed with Legally Blonde (and everything pink!) for as long as I can remember so to get the opportunity to play Elle Woods at the Floral Pavilion is the best feeling and I hope the audience will love it just as much as the cast are!"
