LEADING sports retailer JD is set to launch a new store in Bromborough this week.

A spokesperson for the sportswear giant said: "Shoppers will have access to more space and a greater selection of brands as the ‘King of Trainers’ officially welcomes consumers to its bigger and better store at The Croft Retail & Leisure Park from Thursday, July 25.

"JD will ensure local residents and buyers are provided with their fix of all their favourite brands including Nike, Adidas, The North Face, and Under Armour, re-enforcing JD’s ranking as the leading trainer and sports fashion retailer."

To mark the store launch, JD is hosting several 'in-store experiences' to engage consumers across the initial opening weekend.

A resident DJ will be gracing the decks and shoppers will be able to play a Batak game, which challenges participants to hit as many lit up buttons as possible, with the high scorer for each day winning a £50 JD voucher.

The shop's trading hours are: Mon - Fri – 9am – 8pm; Sat – 9am – 7pm; Sun – 10am – 4.00pm
