A WOMAN'S purse was reportedly stolen from her handbag while she shopped in Asda.
At around 2.20pm yesterday (Monday, July 22) the woman was shopping with her three grandchildren in Asda on Grange Road in Birkenhead when her purse was stolen out of her bag.
It was reported that £100 cash and cards were taken.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “We received a report that a purse had been stolen from the handbag of a female customer in Asda Birkenhead at around 2.20pm yesterday (Monday, July 22).
“Anyone with information is asked to DM @MerPolCC or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 24000638628.”
