A campaign to recruit 'climate champions' begins on Wirral this week.
Being a climate champion involves inspiring others to reduce their carbon footprint, supporting community activities, receiving informative training and meeting new people with a shared interest in making a difference to their local environment.
The next events take place today (Monday, July 22) at Europa Pools Leisure Centre in Birkenhead from 3-7pm.
The other events will take place at the following venues:
- Wednesday, July 24: Guinea Gap Leisure Centre from 3 to 7pm.
- Monday, July 29: Leasowe Leisure Centre from 3 to 7pm
- Wednesday, July 31: Moreton Library from 12-1pm and 2-5pm.
- August 5: Upton Library from 12-1pm and 2-5pm.
- August 7: West Kirby Concourse from 3-7pm.
