Festival time
A SUMMER festival promising 'top family entertainment, live shows, attractions and more' is being held in New Brighton later this week.
Taking place on The Dips from Thursday (July 25) to Sunday, July 28 it follows an 'incredible' inaugural event last year.
It promises family entertainment, live shows, attractions, a fun fair, games, a huge independent market, a food village, a pet village and more.
Live acts include a Taylor Swift tribute, Mr Tumble Liverpool, The Disney Princess Show, Blippi, Little Star Tykes, a superhero show, a Spiderman stunt show, a character meet and greet, local music artists, dance and drama school shows and more.
Bird club talk
VIBRANT Sri Lanka is the title of Ashley Grove' illustrated talk to Wirral Bird Club later this week.
It will take place on Thursday, July 25 at St Bridget’s Church Centre, Church Road, West Kirby, starting at 7.30 pm.

Charity concert
A choral concert in aid of Age UK will take place at Trinity with Palm Grove Church on Alton Road in Birkenhead on Saturday July 27 at 3pm.
Members of the Ravenscroft Singers will perform a collection of madrigals and church music. Soloist Jan Rayner will perform Mozart's Clarinet Concerto 1st movement.
Tickets £10. The performance is described as Dementia Friendly.
Wildlife art
An exhibition of wildlife art will be on view at Gordale Garden Centre later this week, featuring work by some of the best wildlife artists in the UK, according to its organiser.
They will be demonstrating their skills so why not come and watch them at work. Apart from the big four there will be over 500 original studies of species of birds, animals and insects, all for sale for you to enjoy. The exhibition is on from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28. Free admission.
Yoga
CHAIR-based yoga, coffee and chat at Westbourne Hall, West Kirby every Thursday from 10.30am to midday.

THE Greasby Players are looking for new members. A spokesperson for the group said: "We are a very friendly group and we laugh a lot! We love doing comedy but can perform other types of plays. Made in Dagenham
LISCARD-based ST Paul's Musical Theatre Company is in rehearsal for its next production, Made in Dagenham - The Musical.
Staged at the Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight from October 16 to 19, it is inspired by a true story and based on the hit movie. It is described as 'an uplifting British musical comedy about friendship, love and the importance of fighting for what is right and shows how ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they stand together.
