A ROAD has been shut in both directions after a crash between a bus and a car in Upton.
At 7.30am this morning (Wednesday, July 17) Merseyside Police received a report of a crash involving two vehicles, a white Seat Leon and a bus.
The incident happened at the junction of Saughall Massie Road and Brookside Crescent in Upton.
A spokesperson for the force confirmed there were no injuries reported and damage only.
Road closures are in place while officers are at the scene of the crash. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
