THE owners of 80 classic cars will show them off during Wirral's Historic Vehicle rally tomorrow (Sunday, July 21).

Organised by Wirral Classic Car Club, it has been a popular event each July for more than 20 years.

A spokesperson for the organisers said: "The cars and their often suitably costumed drivers and passengers will gather at the Red Fox, Thornton Hough to leave from 10.30am.

"Following the route below they will arrive at Carr Farm Garden Centre in Meols for a lunch stop and will set off again from around 1.30 pm to head back to Thornton Hough playing field for a further display, general chatter and of course the prize giving.

"Visitors are welcome at The Red Fox, Carr Farm and Thornton Hough however please be directed by the marshals as to parking.

"Often many hundreds, if not thousands view and wave from the roadside as the cars pass."
