WIRRAL'S motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that both of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M53, from 9pm June 30 to 5am July 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M53 both directions one to 2 - lane closure for barriers - permanent on behalf of National Highways.
And one more closure will begin over the next two weeks:
• A41, from 9.30am to 3pm on July 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A550 northbound and southbound, Hooton Green to M53, junction 5 lane closures due to.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
