SOME Merseyrail services have been cancelled or disrupted due to "a train fault".
There has been disruption to some trains travelling through Wirral due to the issue today, Sunday.
In a statement today, Merseyrail said: "Due to a train fault, services on the Chester and Ellesmere Port lines face cancellations or alterations".

1730 Chester to Liverpool Central will start from Hamilton Square
1815 Liverpool Central to Chester is cancelled
Ellesmere Port line:
1729 Liverpool Central to Ellesmere Port is cancelled
1819 Ellesmere Port to Liverpool Central is cancelled
1859 Liverpool Central to Ellesmere Port is cancelled
New Brighton:
Services are currently running as scheduled
West Kirby line:
Services are currently running as scheduled
Southport line:
Services are currently running as scheduled
Hunts Cross line:
Services are currently running as scheduled
