A MAN was arrested after an off-road bike nearly hit pedestrians as the rider attempted to evade police.
On Tuesday (June 29) a man was seen trying to evade officers while riding a blue off-road motorbike.
As officers conducted a search of the area, the bike reportedly almost collided with pedestrians and other vehicles.
Police subsequently located a suspect.

A 42-year-old man from Moreton was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled Class B drug, driving under the influence of drugs and driving while disqualified.
The off-road motorbike has also been seized by the officers.
