Festival vibes at West Kirby Grammar School's summer celebration

SCHOOL'S out for summer for Year 11 students at West Kirby Grammar School.

The annual 'end of exams festival' marks the end of school life for teenagers at the school and is a chance for the class of 2024 to celebrate with friends and teachers.

The school fields were filled with inflatables and photo booths as well as ice cream stands, candy floss, popcorn and pizza.

Live music was provided by Year 11 students Pareidolia as well as Michael Aldag, Dayzy and Masi Masi.

Lisa Begbie, deputy head teacher, said: "This event was a wonderful opportunity for students to unwind and celebrate together after their hard work, dedication and resilience throughout the year.

"We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students; they are a brilliantly diverse group who we have loved seeing grow and find their individual passions as they have progressed through school with us.

"Most of our students will be back with us in the Sixth Form in September and we wish the whole group a relaxing summer and every success in their next steps."
