EVERTON have signed a record-breaking shirt deal with Castore.

The PA news agency understands the new contract is worth three times the previous four-year arrangement with Hummel, which was reported to bring in around £8million a year.

Castore will also become the first founding partner of Everton’s new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, which is scheduled to be completed in December ahead of the club moving in for the 2025-26 season.

“The agreement – another record deal for the club – sees us link up with an ambitious and innovative sportswear brand and comes at a historic time for Everton as we prepare for our stadium move,” said chief commercial and communications officer Richard Kenyon.

“It was also really pleasing that Castore could see the commercial opportunities in becoming a founding partner at our new stadium.”

Castore, which has partnerships with England and Wales Cricket, McLaren F1 and Oracle Red Bull Racing, two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray and Olympic athlete Adam Peaty, was founded in the Wirral in 2016 by brothers and former athletes Tom and Phil Beahon.

Tom Beahon said: “We’re immensely proud to be partnering with Everton Football Club as Technical Partner and an Everton Stadium Founding Partner.

“Everton are pioneers of the beautiful game and the Club’s history of consistently striving for new innovation and setting new norms is a great match with our foundational belief that ‘Better Never Stops’.

"Being from Merseyside, we truly understand what football means to people in this part of the world and, for that reason, we are looking forward to being part of what is an inspiring and once-in-a-generation journey ahead for Everton.”
