A 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences following an incident in New Brighton on Thursday (June 6).
Just before midnight, police attended an address in Sidney Avenue in relation to a wanted man.
A man was found at the scene, and a large quantity of suspected cocaine and cannabis seized. Other "suspected drug supply paraphernalia" was also found.
Police remain at the scene carrying out enquiries.
A Merseyside Police statement read: "A 48-year-old man, from New Brighton, was arrested on suspicion of Production of Class A drugs, and Possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs. He remains in custody for questioning.
