HAZE, our dog of the week, may be ten but she is said to be 'still full of adventure and loves to jump into the car and head out on a day trip'.

The 10-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross, currently a resident at Dogs Trust Merseyside's rehoming centre, is described as 'a social butterfly' who loves to say hello to people and visit cafes and pubs during her walks, where she happily lies down peacefully and watches the world go by.

When out and about she is happy to walk with other dogs, but prefers it if they don’t rush up to her.

Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, says: "Haze is a lovely girl and would be an ideal companion for children aged ten and up.

"She can also potentially live with a cat but would like to be the only dog in the home.

"She is currently loving life in one of our foster homes and they have discovered that one of her favourite pastimes is playing with the water from the hosepipe."

Haze is comfortable being left alone for a few hours. She is a little noise sensitive so would prefer to live in a home where she is unlikely to encounter loud noises.
