A POST Office is Wallasey will reopen under new management.
Trafalgar Road Post Office is to re-open next under new management in August.
The former McColl’s shop which closed in January 2023 has become a SPAR store and the new owner has successfully applied to re-open Trafalgar Road Post Office.
Karl Haddon, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to be restoring Post Office services to the Trafalgar Road area of Wallasey as we know how important a Post Office is to a community.
“I know that the local community will join me in welcoming this good news and hope that our customers will continue to use this service.”
The branch is due to re-open on Tuesday, August 13 at 1pm.
The new opening hours will be Monday to Sunday 8am – 11pm.
This will provide 105 hours of Post Office service a week for the convenience of customers.
