A SUSPECTED drug dealer has been charged after he was arrested in a Wirral park.
Andrew David Smyth was arrested in Central Park in Wallasey on Thursday, May 16.
The 25-year-old, of no fixed abode, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin) and breach of a sexual harm prevention order.
Smyth was remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court today (Friday, May 17).
Project Medusa is the Merseyside-led initiative to tackle County Lines drug dealing and criminal exploitation across the country.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “Anyone who has any information about county lines drug dealing in their area, can contact @CrimestoppersUK completely anonymously on 0800 555 111 or contact 101. In an emergency always contact 999.”
