A NEW “neon” mini golf course is set to open in Wirral.

Activity for All have announced the opening of a brand new, neon adventure golf: ‘Mini Golf Adventures’.

Situated on Arrowe Commercial Park and neighbouring the existing Activity for All Sports & Activity Centre, in Upton, Mini Golf Adventures will offer 18-holes of neon mini golf.

The first nine-holes are ‘Atlantis Crusade’ where features include a huge submarine with a photo opportunity in the captain’s chair; a sunken city; and an amazing neon water feature.

‘Space Odyssey’ – the second nine-holes – offers interactive features such as an impressive steam-generating viper vessel; moon buggy and light-up control console.

The bar area ‘The Red Planet’ will serve alcohol as well as hot and cold drinks and food.

Company Director, Mike Smethurst, said: “Having recognised the gap in the market for a neon adventure golf in the Wirral area, it was ideal timing when the unit neighbouring our existing Sports & Activity Centre became available.

“The concept has become a reality in a relatively short time, and as we put the finishing touches to the venue and see the neon features coming to life, it’s a very exciting time for the Activity for All family.

“We are particularly excited at the prospect of welcoming more adult groups as well as local businesses to host team-building events and for the use of our meeting space.”

The company will offer 90-minute party packages including golf, hot or cold food, unlimited juice, sweet bags and invitations. The parties will be fully hosted by staff.

As well as party packages, there will also be toddler deals which will be available midweek during term-time and they will also host additional needs sessions twice per week.

Opening late into the evening, the venue is also perfect for adult groups of friends to meet, and the licenced bar complements this offering.

Mini Golf Adventures will open on Thursday, May 23. Bookings are now being taken and can made online at: https://activityforall.com/bookwirral/.
