MERSEYSIDE Police has asked the public to help them find a missing Wirral teenager.

A statement from the Force read: "Please share and help us find missing 13-year-old Owen Harris from Birkenhead.

"Owen was last seen today (Thursday, May 2), walking along Old Chester Road at around 8.30am and extensive enquiries are ongoing to find him.

"He is described as a white male with a medium build and short brown hair. 

"When last seen, Owen was wearing a grey tracksuit and white trainers. 

"He has links to other parts of Wirral and Liverpool city centre. 

"If you see Owen, please call 999 so we can make sure he is safe."
