A TEENAGE boy has been charged on suspicion of stealing multiple bikes from across Wirral.
Between Sunday, May 7 and Monday, May 15 last year, Merseyside Police received reports of bike robberies and attempted robberies on Greasby Road, Leasowe Road, Cameron Road, Hoylake Road and Ripon Road.
A 16-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Friday 19 May 2023.
Following an investigation he has now been charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery and three counts of attempted robbery.
He has also been charged with being concerned in the supply of a controlled Class B drug.
He has been conditionally bailed to appear in Merseyside Youth Court on Tuesday May 28.
