RNLI lifeguards will be back on patrol across Wirral’s beaches.
With the Easter school holidays over, RNLI Wirral Lifeguard patrols around the coast have now moved to weekends and bank holidays.
The patrols at the beaches were in place from Friday, March 19 to Monday, April 15 over the half term and will soon resume for the summer.
Daily patrols will resume on May 25 where lifeguards will be keeping watch at New Brighton, West Kirby, Moreton, Harrison Drive and the Plateaux from 10am - 6pm every day.
A spokesperson for RNLI Wirral Lifeguards said: “With the end of the Easter school holidays, RNLI Wirral Lifeguards patrols around the Wirral coast move to weekends and Bank Holidays from today.
“Daily patrols will resume on 25 May throughout the summer. Thanks to the teams for keeping beachgoers safe, especially through the recent stormy weather.
RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews remain on call 24/7. If you’re heading to the coast, stay safe and respect the water.”
