EMERGENCY services were called to a Wirral street after youths set a bin on fire.
At around 8.10pm on Saturday, April 13 Merseyside Police and Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended Bedford Rock in Rock Ferry to reports of youths causing a nuisance.
Crews arrived to a bin on fire which was reportedly set alight by youths.
They extinguished the fire and left the area.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said: “Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended an incident at Bedford Road, Rock Ferry, on Saturday 13 April.
“A crew was alerted at 8.31pm and one fire engine was on scene shortly after.
“The crew arrived to find a bin on fire, which they extinguished using one high pressure hose reel.
“Once extinguished, the crew made up equipment and left the scene at 8.47pm.”
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “We were called to Bedford Road, Rock Ferry at around 8.10pm on Saturday, 13 April to reports of youths causing nuisance.
"MFRS attended a short time later after the youths reportedly set a bin alight.
Enquiries are ongoing, anyone with information or who captured any CCTV or dashcam can contact @MerPolCC with reference 943 of 13 April.”
