A NEW children’s soft play centre has opened in New Ferry.
Toddle Over soft play based on Bebington Road in New Ferry is a new family-run business opened by couple Charlene Thompson, 38, and Katie Slattery, 30, from Rock Ferry.
The centre provides sessions for children ages zero to nine-years-old and features a ball pint, games room, play blocks, and a jungle play frame.
Charlene told the Globe: “We decided to open a play area so more people from the local community would have a place to go to with their young kids.
“The idea came from not having many small soft plays for our young baby who is two-years-old. We found the centres that were open were always full or too far away to travel or too expensive.
“So with that in mind we’ve included offers like a child minder and twins discount. It’s had a great response so far we’ve been full almost every day.”
The centre, which opened on Saturday, March 23, has plans to open a sensory games room later this month.
As well as soft play, the centre offers food and drinks, face painting and children’s parties with mascots.
The centre is open seven days a week from 9.30am-6pm. it costs £4 for admission and £7 with a meal.
