SMALL grants are available for community group projects in West Kirby and Hoylake.
Applications are invited for the West Kirby Rotary Club small grants scheme of up to £200. Any West Kirby/Hoylake area group supporting community members can apply.
The money could, for example, be used by groups to buy new sports equipment, kitchen supplies for a support group, or funds towards a group trip out.
The scheme is being run to try to identify smaller voluntary groups, not necessarily registered charities, that provide community support and just need a little bit of extra funding.
A spokesperson for West Kirby Rotary Club said: "We enjoy fundraising and getting involved with many projects which involve and benefit our local community.
"We are therefore delighted to announce the launch of our Small Community Grant Award for organisations with an annual income of £10,000 or less."
To find out more, please visit the website www.westkirbyrotary.org and click on Community Grant section, where you will find further guidance and a downloadable application form.
The closing date for applications is May 31.
