THE funeral of Jason Threlfall who was killed during a crash in Bromborough will take place today (Friday, February 16).

The 36-year-old was tragically killed in a crash at the junction of Stadium Road and Commercial Road on Wednesday, January 10 after it was reported that his motorbike had been in collision with a Kia Sportage car.

In an emotional tribute, his family described him as a "beautiful soul" who would "light up a room with his stunning smile".

His last "ride out" will begin at his mum's home at 1.30pm where everyone will travel to The Tap in Eastham for photographs with the Harley Davidson and other bikers.

The service will then take place at Landican Cemetery at 3pm, returning back to The Tap afterwards.

Jason's partner, Suzie Hough said: “We want to give Jason the best send off ever, which is no more than what he deserves.

"Myself and the family are truly overwhelmed by the support and kind donations we have received towards Jason’s funeral, and we want to thank each and every one of you who has donated, it really does mean so much to us.

"No need for suits or to wear black, Jason’s favourite colour was green, so please could you wear something green."
