AN ice cream shop in West Kirby has released CCTV images after a man brazenly stole charity boxes.
On Sunday, February 11, police received a report that a man had forced entry into The Ice Cream Shop on Grange Road, West Kirby and stole charity boxes and cash.
It is believed that the offence took place at round 1pm the previous Sunday (February 4).
Merseyside Police said that CCTV and forensic enquiries are “ongoing” and an image is in circulation of a man that officers would like to speak to.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “If you have any information, contact us @MerPolCC or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 with reference 24000167046.”
