FUNERAL details have been confirmed for a motorcyclist who died following a crash in Bromborough last month.

36-year-old Jason Threlfall, was tragically killed in a crash at the junction of Stadium Road and Commercial Road on Wednesday, January 10 after it was reported that his motorbike had been in collision with a Kia Sportage car.

In an emotional tribute, his family described him as a "beautiful soul" who would "light up a room with his stunning smile".

The tribute said: "A son, a brother, a father, a partner, an uncle, a godfather, and a friend to so many.

"A beautiful soul who kept himself to himself yet was loved by all who knew him.

"He would light up a room with his stunning smile and infectious laugh, always the joker.

"Jason was generous to a fault and helped so many who were stuck, a lot of the time just as a favour.

"His passing will definitely leave a huge void in so many lives, but at some point during our day we always remember his quips when we see or hear something which will bring a smile to our faces, and a giggle to our hearts.

"The family have been overwhelmed by the generosity, support, donations and out pouring of love.

"Jason will be sadly missed, but forever in our hearts until we meet him again."

A GoFundMe page was then set up by Jason's cousin, Alex Menzies following the incident to raise money to give Jason the "funeral he deserves".

It has since raised over £1,000.

Funeral details...

Jason's partner, Suzie Hough, has confirmed his funeral details in a public post on Facebook.

His last "ride out" will begin at his mum's home at 1.30pm on Friday, February 16, where everyone will travel to The Tap in Eastham for photographs with the Harley Davidson and other bikers.

The service will then take place at Landican Cemetery at 3pm, returning back to The Tap afterwards.

Suzie continued: "We want to give Jason the best send off ever, which is no more than what he deserves.

"Myself and the family are truly overwhelmed by the support and kind donations we have received towards Jason’s funeral, and we want to thank each and every one of you who has donated, it really does mean so much to us.

"No need for suits or to wear black, Jason’s favourite colour was green, so please could you wear something green."
