AN Aldi employee in Neston is celebrating 25 years with the business.
Sharon O’Reilly, 45, first joined the supermarket as a store assistant in Aldi’s Birkenhead store.
Assuming several roles since then, including assistant store manager and store manager, she now works as a store operations assistant at Aldi’s Neston Regional Distribution Centre.
From taking part in charity events for Aldi’s dedicated charity, Teenage Cancer Trust, including running the Chester 10k back in 2021 and raising £455, to supporting fellow colleagues, Sharon is an "integral" part of Aldi’s Neston team.
A well-known face amongst customers and colleagues, Sharon has seen Aldi continue to invest in the community over the years.
Commenting on her time at Aldi, Sharon said: “The past 25 years have flown by.
"I feel very lucky to have two store openings under my belt during that time, one of which my son Seth had the privilege of cutting the ribbon at, and I look forward to seeing what’s next for me at Aldi."
When asked what the one Aldi product she couldn’t live without was, Sharon said: “My favourite product has got to be the Specially Selected Brioche, closely followed by the Beachfront White Zinfandel."
Laura Domoné, regional managing director at Aldi UK, said: "We’re incredibly grateful to all of our colleagues and take great pride in celebrating their achievements.
"Colleagues like Sharon have played a key part in our growth and success, and I would like to thank her for her contributions.
"Our colleagues allow us to connect with wider communities and continue to provide the high-quality service that customers keep coming back for."
