HESWALL bookshop Linghams has announced an extra date to their event with RNLI and best-selling author Ann Cleeves due to "popular demand".
Ann is the author of more than 35 critically acclaimed novels, and in 2017 was awarded the highest accolade in crime writing, the CWA Diamond Dagger.
The 69-year-old from Herefordshire is the creator of popular detectives Vera Stanhope, Jimmy Perez and Matthew Venn, who can be found on television in ITV’s Vera, BBC One’s Shetland and ITV’s The Long Call.
Lingham's first event with Ann and RNLI, which is on March 14 has sold out, and so an extra date has been added on March 15 at 1pm.
At both events, Ann will talk about the inspiration behind her latest bestseller, The Raging Storm.
She will be joined on stage by local RNLI volunteer, Chris Williams, sharing real-life rescue stories from the Hoylake Lifeboat crew.
This is a fundraising event for the RNLI, which celebrates its 200th anniversary this year, so a portion of the ticket price will be donated to the charity.
There are no designated parking spaces for Hope Church, where the event is taking place, but there is plenty of street parking nearby.
