A WIRRAL shopping centre will be hosting three weekends of Christmas events this festive season.
Shoppers will be able to get into the Christmas spirit at Cherry Tree Shopping Centre with events and activities booked in every weekend from Saturday, December 2.
With the return of the Christmas grotto and a range of craft workshops, along with competitions, shoppers will have plenty to do this festive season. Children can write letters to Santa at the event area, located near to Poundbakery, and receive a return letter in the post, as well as enter the seasonal colouring competition.
Ruth Kavanagh, Centre Administrator at Cherry Tree, said: “Following on from the late-night shopping event we held on November 30th, we are so pleased to share our calendar of events for the Christmas period. We also have an exciting social media competition beginning on the 11th December where we will be giving away five incredible prizes to some lucky shoppers.”
Elf Workshops will take place each Saturday until December 16. The list of workshops include Saturday December 2 – Santa’s Gingerbread Decorating, Saturday December 9 – Mrs Claus’ Clay Bauble Crafts and Saturday December 16 – Rudolf’s Reindeer Food Prep
Santa’s Grotto will be open each Saturday in December with extra dates added for the 22, 23 and 24 December. All events are free and take place within the centre between 10am until 4pm.
Cherry Tree Shopping Centre will also be hosting a week-long competition on their Facebook page, that will see five lucky winners receive gifts, beginning on December 11.
