A TAKEAWAY in Wirral has been given the lowest food hygiene rating following its latest inspection.
Wing Shak on Liscard Road in Wallasey was rated zero after its inspection on September 6.
The fast food takeaway says they specialise in "American-style jumbo chicken wings, chicken burgers, tortilla wraps, and milkshakes".
Their website states: "Chicken burgers and wraps come with fresh salad prepared daily with a selection of sauces to make the perfect combination for your meal."
However, inspectors said that the takeaway required "major improvement" in all categories.
Categories include the management of food safety, hygienic food handling and cleanliness and conditions of facilities and buildings.
A spokesperson for Wing Shak said: "We had some problems which have been sorted.
"I will request a revisit from the hygiene food agency to come and visit again soon to reinspect the food hygiene record."
