ONE of Merseyside’s much loved Beatles visitor attractions has announced it’s Christmas calendar of festive events and activities.
As part of Strawberry Field’s Christmas celebrations, people will be invited to enjoy a host of events including a Christmas craft fair taking place on November 18. Later in the month, Strawberry Field will also be collaborating with the St George’s Hall Charitable Trust to bring its ‘Celebrating Christmas’ event to the Great Hall on November 26.
Kathy Versfeld, mission director at Strawberry Field, said: “For many people, 2023 has been a tough year when rising prices and ongoing economic uncertainty has robbed many people of their sense of optimism or fun. This year the team and I are delighted to be hosting a series of festive-themed events which invite our supporters and visitors to celebrate with us the true meaning of Christmas: coming together in community and finding hope, joy, peace and love, despite the challenges of everyday life.”
Strawberry Field will once again be offering 12 days of Christmas lunch to celebrate the season at the Imagine More Café. Prepared using locally sourced produce, guests can enjoy a traditional Christmas lunch overlooking the gardens.
From December 9 to January 31, Strawberry Field is providing a 20% discount on tickets to its visitor exhibition that interweaves stories of The Salvation Army, John Lennon's childhood, and the writing and recording of 'Strawberry Fields Forever.’
