A HOMELESS man has been rehomed in Birkenhead after police received numerous calls of concern for his welfare.
Yesterday (Tuesday, October 17) officers visited and spoke with the man who was living in a tent on the Rock Retail Park, Birkenhead.
Officers contacted housing associations who helped temporarily rehome him in Birkenhead.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police told the Globe: “We can confirm that local police officers have worked with housing accommodations in Birkenhead to rehome a man who was residing in a tent on the Rock Retail Park.
“Yesterday (Tuesday 17 October) officers contacted housing associations and spoke with the man who has been temporarily rehomed in Birkenhead.
