A WIRRAL care home held a community coffee morning that raised £100 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Members of the local community, including Wirral's Mayor Jerry Williams, were invited to attend the event at Park House Care Home.
It was a chance for a cuppa and a chat and to enjoy a selection of delicious cakes.
There was also live entertainment and a buffet, and members of staff had a baking competition.
In the week leading up to the big day, the home’s chefs helped residents perfect their cakes and bakes and residents also made decorations in their arts & crafts activities.
The event was hailed a "great success" by organisers.
Resident Freda said: “I’ve really enjoyed meeting the mayor today."
Jade Randles, activities coordinator, added: “It was a great team effort all around!”
