EMOTIONAL tributes have been paid to Stephen Shrimpton and Jessica Baker after a book of condolences was set up by the Globe.

The book of condolences was opened to allow members of the public to leave messages in remembrance of the pair who tragically lost their lives during a bus crash on the M53.

At around 8am on Friday (September 29) a school bus overturned after crashing into a reservation on the northbound section near junction five at Hooton.

Both 15-year-old West Kirby Grammar School pupil, Jessica Baker, and the 40-year-old driver, Steven Shrimpton, died in the incident.

Around 58 people were involved in the crash with a total of 52 attending the emergency services training centre in Wallasey.

Here are tributes that people left in the book of condolences.

Pay your tributes hereIn Arrowe Park Hospital unwell when this happened only a mile or 2 away. The staff here were ready to help and assist in any way they could, it was like a quiet before a storm BUT the NHS Staff were ready and fully prepared to do whatever they could. Many a tear I saw from staff who were snowed under with their own ill patients to care for. A sad patient. x
